🧨🧧Chinese New Year @ Orlando | 在奥兰多过年

This year, Chinese New Year is only a week after the MLK holiday. To take advantage of that, we planned a trip to the Disney World and Universal Studio.

We’ve been to the Universal Studio in Hollywood. Daisy has also been to the Disneyland in Shanghai for several time, but for me it’s the first time.

今年的春节和马丁路德金日之间只相隔一周，于是我们请了这一周的假前往奥兰多的迪士尼世界和环球影城。

Day 0: Red-eye Flight | 红眼航班 🛫

To save about $1000, we booked a red-eye flight that departs SEA at 9pm and arrives MCO at 6am.

为了省钱，我们订了晚上9点出发，早上6点到达的机票。

We checked weather forecast before our trip, and we expected it to be colder than “usual Florida temperature”, but we didn’t expect that it’s as cold as Seattle.

出发前我们查了当地的天气，得知我们到达这天有寒流，但我们没有预料到奥兰多会和西雅图一般冷🥶。

Day 1: Disney Springs

Being sleepless, we didn’t plan for any theme park on the day of arrival. Instead, we went straight to the Disney Springs – to shop for winter wear. But even before that, we had our first meal at Rainforest Cafe.

到达的第一天，我们并没有计划去主题公园，而是去了Disney Springs购物中心——为了买几件厚衣服，包括羽绒服、冲锋衣。不过在那之前，我们先得填饱肚子，在Rainforest Cafe吃了第一顿午餐。

Day 2: EPCOT

EPCOT is the first Disney theme park in our trip. Our first ride was Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It was a thrill ride, and we haven’t even had breakfast before the ride, which made it even worse. I felt a bit like being “tortured”, but Daisy was brave enough to ride it again.

EPCOT是我们去的第一个主题公园。还没来得及吃早饭，我们就去坐了第一个项目——银河护卫队。不得不说把我折腾得够呛。

We observed the Harmonious firework show to end the day.

Day 3: Magic Kingdom

Day 4: Hollywood Studio, and EPCOT again

In Hollywood Studio, we spent half day. The most impressive ride we had was the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
